Make sure that whenever you spread or handle caviar in any way that you use a gold, wood, or plastic utensils. Silver and stainless steel that are commonly used in cutlery can alter the taste of the caviar. The last thing you want to do is pay good money for something and then ruin it by touching it with the wrong knife.
